Autoscopy ~ Final

It was cool to see the minor differences in each quality!  Quality: 100% Quality: 75% Quality: 50% Quality: 25%  Quality: 0%

Selfie ~ Autoscopy

Here is the starting picture I used for my Autoscopy project!

Multiplicity ~ Exploring Music

This project took a lot of prior planning to get the desired outcome. I love music, so I decided to showcase that here. I thought switching outfits would characterize each duplicate of myself. Here are my depictions:  ~  An audience member applauding the singer ~ Piano player providing accompaniment  ~ A musician reading sheet music ~ A couple initiating a dance

B&W to Color

I used the same image from the 'Poster Project' for this project! It is really cool to see your images transform in diverse ways!

Big Hair, Big Dreams by Santiago

Mr. Santiago gave me really perspective feedback that made my poster come to life. He added the outlines around the face and switched the colors!

Final Poster

Here is my final poster! The message, of course, is my recurring theme of self-empowerment! Outlining the face would have made the poster come to life, but overall I am very proud of the product!

Poster Inspired by Alica Keys

This version of my final poster is inspired by Alica Keys' album cover entitled 'ALCIA.' There is something so natural and effortless about this cover that I felt compelled to tie it in with this project. Not to mention the songs on this album are so beautiful.  Check out a cover I did for a song in this album♥

Selfie ~ Poster

I am very proud of this photo. I was able to take it myself and convert it into a black & white image. Turning it black & white added depth to the photo! I even used this photo as a headshot for a modeling agency (and they offered me an audition)! Needless to say, I owe it to this class for bringing me out of my comfort zone.
I incorporated all of the meaningful words from my 'letter to myself' into this image and used the actual 'letter to myself' for the background. I stuck to my recurring theme of empowerment♥

Letter to Myself ~ Calligram

Selfie ~ Calligram

My Empowerment Selfie  For all the African American women out there don't be afraid to embrace your natural beauty. What I see in this picture is a strong Black woman embracing her afro, her lips, her eyes, her nose; ♥EVERYTHING that makes her BEAUTIFUL♥

Business Cards

Business Chic! Would love to use these business cards in the future! Possibly for my own business :)

Logo Primitives

It was cool to see my logos come to life on the primitive shapes! The blue shapes give off a fun and artsy vibe while the black shape represents a matte or formal feel. The black one showed how versatile my logo is which made me very proud!

Final Product ~ Logos

Hearts have always been a 'passion' of mine. Both are representative of each other. Using Illustrator, I was able to create a simplistic logo with my two favorite items.
